About
Jesse Wrenn and Stephen Chiatovich formed Landbridge Lighting in late 2005 with the goal of producing durable, thoughtfully designed and detail-oriented work while providing quality personal service for a select clientele.
But that’s kind of what everyone says on their ‘about’ page, isn’t it? Perhaps this page should have a bit more style and personality…
Ah, it was a hard and pitiless beginning, the rough edges of our rosy outlook chipped off by the striking stone of experience. The struggle and the hunger - heads filled with hope and pockets full of nothing. We are indelibly marked by the mold into which we’ve been pressed. We have come far without going anywhere, and in time we will go home to look after the chickens.
Or, perhaps not. We started Landbridge because we wanted to control the quality of our output and the direction of our craft. Our operating philosophy? Simple: Show up, work thoughtfully, solve problems, try to exceed customer expectations, and produce in a way in which we can be proud. To learn about us, navigate through the galleries of our work and the news section of our website. Or introduce yourself. Make an appointment to see our workspace and see what we do first hand. Our shop is located in the Malt House portion of the Original Rainier Brewery in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle.
